Full Moon in Aquarius at 19°21’

I could paint it a rosy colour, but this Full Moon looks challenging.

It will be in Aquarius, under the rulership of Saturn, father of time and responsibility.

This Full Moon is at the bendings of the nodes and besieged (trapped) between Uranus, Saturn and Mars, making this crescendo a crisis for some.

Take note if you have planets or angles in fixed signs, Aquarius, Taurus, Leo or Scorpio, especially 15-29°.

It is not likely to be a particularly splendid or fun lunation, unless you revel in accountability and are committed to applying yourself.

It spells WORK, VISON, CHANGE or STAGNATION, DISCOMFORT and RELEASING leading to PROGRESS.

Not many enjoy that kind of pressure, but with Saturn, you get a piece of coal for every morsel of effort, so think yourself lucky!

If you feel like you are being tested, or something has no way forward you could be right. A positive way to use this energy is focus on the insight you have into your circumstances and see what needs correction.

Full Moons are times of manifestation, to harvest. What have you been planting with your habits and choices? You may reap a bag of dirt or gold, but regardless, it can be helpful to look at what is coming up and figure out what you need to do to generate a different outcome.

There is beauty in the pain because this Full Moon, shines brightly on what is not working, sustainable or able to withstand the test of time (Saturn’s test).

Humans desire to seek pleasure and avoid pain, but if you can gracefully accept you are shown and amend things, these sharp, prodding aspects that mobilise activity will have served their purpose.

Saturn and Mars are known as ‘malefic planets’ in astrology. Bringing strife, or things you consider unpleasant, like pain or chaos.

In a world of polarities, it’s important to remember too much pleasure will leave you fat and broke.

So in a way, the malefics are here to help, to get your arse off the couch and show you when somethings got to give.

Saturn represents ageing, death, decay, cruelty, a fine in the mail or that big NO from someone, when you wanted a yes.

Mars is separation, stress, road rage from rushing, violence and the pain of being human.

These harsher planets bring limitations, loss and separation. Which can destroy you OR can mobilise humility and respect for your mortality. Separation and endings, despite your grasping, are sometimes exactly what you need to put you on a better trajectory.

Change require a destructive force in the universe too and that is what these planets provide.
